As we say goodbye to the blissful summer and the memories we have created and dearly cherish, it is time to indulge into the magic of the fall season. Unfortunately, sometimes even the best protection from the sun can leave our skin parched, our hair damaged and our body in desperate need of recharge. If implemented properly into your lifestyle, there are a couple of foods and drinks that can help you battle tiredness, dry skin, environmental pollution and aging. 



Don't be fooled by how little those berries look as they are one of the most powerful sources of Vitamin C which is known to regenerate the skin from inside-out. Antioxidant foods like blackberries are known to help boost brain health, as well as work towards providing protection from environmental pollution. Not to mention - they are quite a perfect diet snack - one cup of blackberries has only 60 calories and they are so delicious!

NB: We love them on top of keto-pancakes in the morning or sprinkled over some almond yogurt.


Turmeric Tea

Not your typical cup a tea, we are mostly used to tasting turmeric in our favourite dishes, however it has gained popularity and quickly became the latest tea-craze. And there are multiple reasons why. Studies have suggested turmeric has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits, moreover it is believed that the curcumin in it may prevent from Alzheimer's disease. Mostly, turmeric tea can boost your immune system while keeping you satisfied with its spicy, yet zesty flavour in the cold rainy days of the fall season.




Not much of a surprise, but the symbol of the fall season is not only tasty and interesting to combine with multiple other flavours, it is also incredibly healthy! Pumpkin is rich in fibre, which makes you feel fuller even in smaller quantities. The rich in tryptophan pumpkin seeds result in better sleep, which makes it ideal for people with problems surrounding this area. Additionally, pumpkin is known to lower blood pressure and increase the quality of vision. 

NB: Slice some pumpkin into squares, pop it in the oven and drizzle it with organic honey and nuts afterwards.



The variety is endless and the benefits as well. They are rich in vitamins, minerals, healthy fats and are therefore, one of the most preferred protein. Not only are they vegan, but they also lower the cholesterol and triglycerides, boosting at the same time the HDL cholesterol - "the good one". A study conducted by famous nutritionist Patrick Holford shows that when fruit combines with nuts, the fructose doesn't spike the blood sugar level, making it ideal to maintain a healthy lifestyle, especially if you have health problems.

NB: If you love nut butters, try switching the classic peanut butter with a cashew or almond butter without added sugars. 



A healthy way to improve your stamina and boost your muscle power. Beetroot juice can be quite tasty and refreshing when cold-pressed, before an intensive workout session. It will help improve your metabolism and give you the essential energy kick to be your best self. What is more, beetroots are known to help achieve that natural skin glow, so if you have skin concerns involving dry patches and dehydration, beetroot can be an essential ingredient.

NB: Beetroot soup comes from Russia and it is called "Borsht". It is warming, nutritious and can be made vegan. 


How to prepare a few days before treatment?
Shower, exfoliate your body well, including the face. Focus on dry areas, such as knees and elbows; moisturise with an oil free moisturiser; shave or wax any areas required.
